RESIDE Hires Industry Expert Terry Strongin to Exploit Growth in Alternative Accommodations
RESIDE Worldwide, Inc., (RESIDE) one of the largest alternative accommodation companies in the world, announced the hiring of Terry Strongin, a commercial real estate and capital markets industry veteran, as Executive Vice President of their newly formed RESIDE Realty Group, Inc. (RESIDE Realty). Strongin will lead RESIDE’s plan to acquire apartment buildings located in major U.S. markets operating as a hybrid of furnished and unfurnished apartments.
RESIDE co-CEO, Lee Curtis, CCHP, stated, “The addition of Terry and the launch of RESIDE Realty Group accelerates our mission to offer a better guest experience for those seeking alternative accommodations.”
“RESIDE Realty allows us to leverage the market information from our operating platform in the site selection process as well as begin the migration from the traditional leased assets model to that of owned assets,” explained Jon Wohlfert, RESIDE co-CEO. “The combination of these elements will deliver a higher quality living experience to our residents and generate superior returns for our investors,” he continued.
RESIDE Realty will focus its acquisition activities in major U.S. urban markets with an emphasis on the Greater Seattle Area where the company is headquartered and currently operates over 3,000 corporate apartments.
