Overview of Role
Westbridge Capital is hiring a Business Development Associate (Inside Sales) in our Toronto office. BD Associates in the Westbridge sales team serves as a business development specialist playing a key role in promoting and selling Westbridge investment solutions. Your goal will be to prospect a defined territory to make Westbridge investment solutions known and appreciated. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your prospecting and sales skills. You will work in a collaborative team environment and will receive mentorship and opportunities for skill development.
The successful candidate will work directly with the sales team members to:
Identify and qualify investment advisors for the sale of Westbridge’s investment solutions.
Conduct various business development activities, actively participate in prospecting within your territory, and prepare, implement, and evaluate sales campaigns.
Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing clients and maintain high-quality interactions.
Participate in training sessions to stay informed about products and the market and be an effective resource person.
Work as a team with other associates and sales directors to share ideas and increase overall sales success.
Internal reporting and other sales support tasks as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
You have sound knowledge of the financial markets and can explain complex concepts to clients in an easily understandable way.
You demonstrate exceptional skill in developing client relationships via telephone, as well as strong abilities in prospecting.
You demonstrate effective listening abilities and possess solid written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
Whether collaborating with teams or working autonomously, you consistently demonstrate integrity and a client-focused approach.
You take pride in your organizational skills, managing your time efficiently and balancing multiple priorities without compromising quality.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field with 3 to 5 years of related experience, or a completed Master’s degree in a related field with two years of relevant experience.
Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC), or commitment to complete them within the first 6 months of employment.
